In my opinion perhaps the greatest song ever created that channels what depression feels like....what is sounds like is 'Street Spirit' (Fade out) by Radiohead - if you have never heard this song or seen the clip do yourself a favour & YouTube it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BrZTNhW44-o (but not if you are currently depressed).
