Yesterday I popped in to Melbourne University to get some further information regarding their Graduate Diploma in Arts (Creative Writing), I had to go to the Old Arts Building. Now I have done courses through 4 Australian universities but I had never seen anything quite like this before, to be honest the atmosphere of the place is exactly what I’ve always dreamed of, like something out of a novel or a film. I can’t wait to start studying there in 2010, that’s assuming I get in. I have to choose 1500 words of my best writings as a portfolio – I have no idea what to include. I guess I have another year to think about it. Regardless, it’s good to have a goal to work towards…something to hope for.
