What a joke, Don “backyard” Burke has accepted a position as environmental advisor to Gunns Ltd – he’s a media personality! I’d like to know what his credentials are exactly. Apparently Don is so fond of pulp mills that he wouldn’t even mind if one was built right next door to him…..what a croc of shit!! I must admit I’ve never been a fan of Don, I’ve always questioned his authenticity (as I do with anyone who smiles that much) & I disagree on his endorsement of designer dogs, but now I really can’t stand him. You can’t help but wonder whether Don was headhunted by Gunns as a direct response to Peter Cundall being so opposed to the mill. Gunns are corrupt greedy liars & anyone who stands for them ultimately stands against truth & transparency!

i am have made a stand about Gunns yet, i see both sides of the argument and my emotions wont make a decision - i spose i want more information - which i dont have a lot of
i am not angry with Burke - he believes in development - i spose for jobs and money for people - but he also cares for the environment - probably not to the same extent as more stringent environmentalist
i keep following your blog - it is interesting
