It's turned into a rainy day here in Melbourne, perfect weather to curl up & watch an old movie. I love Thomas Hardy's Tess of the d'Urbevilles, it's one of my favourite books (even if it is mildly misogynist in nature) & I loved Roman Polanski's film adaptation. I remember the first time I ever saw Nastassja Kinski was in the role of "Tess", I thought she was one of the most beautiful creatures I'd ever seen!
